Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS the sitcom Mom. Calvano is a native of California initially was interested in competing gymnastics. Later, she decided to pursue a career as an actor. She debuted on the screen in 2010 in the episode of CBS's NCIS. The biographical crime thriller film J Edgar was her big screen debut a year later. In subsequent seasons, she was able to establish herself among the top young actors working today. In 2011 she won the Young Artist Award nomination for the Best Actress on a TV Series as guest Actress 11-15. The actress was also nominated 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' it". Calvano had a significant role in "Mom", the series' first three season and also made appearances on several episodes of Season four.
