Kellie Martin, she is an American actress and filmmaker most well-known for her role for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Kellie Martin is best known for her performance as the main character of the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Born to a department-store buyer and a kindergarten teacher Martin started her acting career at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children, helped her land an appearance in the 1982 show 'Father Murphy'. Following her graduation of Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land substantial roles, both on the small screen and the large screen. Martin as well as being an excellent dancer and actress, is also an accomplished ballet photographer. She is a mother of two. she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and has been frequently spreading awareness regarding the disease since her sister died of it in the age of 19.
