Kellie Martin. Martin is an American television and film actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is best known for her part as a protagonist of the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was the daughter of a department store buyer as well as the kindergarten teacher. The actress began her acting career in the age of seven when her aunt, a nanny in Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin find a role as a guest star on the TV show Father Murphy. Her professional career began following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of part-time roles in the TV and film industry. Martin, who is an actor as well as an accomplished dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for the past 20 years. Martin is the mother of two and the spokesperson of Lupus. After her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been trying to raise awareness about Lupus and its symptoms.
